Dear Global Warming,
I’m sorry that people think you’re a hoax. As someone who experienced emotional and psychological bullying growing up, I know just how painful it can be to be told that you are a liar or simply treated like you don’t exist.
Therefore, I thought I’d take a moment to tell you just how important you are. You have a huge impact on the world around you. You may not realize this, but not everyone can cause sea levels to rise, disrupt world-wide climate patterns that increase violent and destructive weather, or lead to the extinction of various flora and fauna that are essential to natural ecosystems. You are truly a force to be reckoned with and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
I know you didn’t ask to be born and that we humans are the epitome of neglectful parents. But I assure you that I will do everything in my power to convince people that you matter. I believe in you, Global Warming.
